Sit Pretty Photography is owned and operated by James and Jeanne Marie Seibert. We reside in Cherry Hill, NJ with our 2 kids, an adorable boxer and a mischievous ferret. We started Sit Pretty Photography in 2008 and have taken hundreds of thousands of photos since then. You can see our work featured in calendars, magazines, news articles, advertisements and websites. We’ve also raised tens of thousands of dollars for local shelters and animal rights organizations.
Who we are:
Jeanne Marie has been involved with animals her entire life. Professionally, she has been a Veterinary Technician, Dog Groomer, and Volunteer at many of the local shelters. Jeanne’s extensive experience with animals and photography led to her current career as a professional pet photographer. Her eye for detail and passion for life bring out the best side of all the animals and families she photographs.
James has been an avid photographer for the past 20 years. Having a full understanding of all that’s possible with Photoshop and other various photo editing tools he’s able to create and manipulate images into a myriad of beautiful pieces of art. James works full time as a Search Engine Optimization Consultant and enjoys spending nights and weekends with his family helping build Sit Pretty Photography.
We have photographed many events and have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people and their furry companions. They truly make a difference and go above and beyond for our animal friends. Thank you for all you do.

The Barking Beauty Pageant Philadelphia – 2008, 2009 and 2010. We met Sarge the Pitbull , winner of the 2010 Barking Beauty. He really is a beauty and very busy educating the public about the importance of individuality and breed labeling. You can see our photographs on all his shirts and other memorabilia.
We’ve done a lot with the Animal Welfare Association, Voorhees, N.J. http://www.awanj.org.
The most ambitious project was the 2011 calendar featuring their amazing shelter animals that have found forever homes. Get your calendar today and support a great organization. Paws and Feet 2009 and 2010 5k run and 1mile fun walk. Photos with Santa 2009 and 2010 as well as their Howl-O-Ween Festival. If you’re looking to get a dog or cat, please consider adopting. Pinups for Pitbulls Awareness Gala is another event we photographed. Amazing people raising awareness for our Pitbull/ Pitbull mix friends. We even got a chance to meet Shorti Rossi from Pit Boss!! A great night for a great cause!
