The 2011 Barking Beauty was this past Sunday and we had the pleasure of photographing the contestants once again.
This year was to benefit the Sarge Fund. Helping promote the adoption of older dogs and fix the bad name that pit-bull type breads have unjustly acquired over the past 10 years.
Cubby took top honors – along with many other ribbons, but all the dogs were winners.

Laurel Acres Park, located in Mount Laurel NJ is a large well manicured park that has a variety of backgrounds that work well with dogs. There is also a fenced dog park to let your pooch get the extra energy out, the dog run is not suitable for photos though. So all shots will be on leash with us removing the leashes in photoshop.
Items I like about the park:
Easy access to photographic areas.
Large hill for interesting skylines and angles on the photos.
Wooded areas including a large weeping willow and a beautiful tree that turns a fire red in the fall.
Water fountain in the middle of a man made lake.
Nice paved walking path.
We’ve seen deer on the edges of the woods as well.
Items to keep in mind:
Park can be busy with lots of other people.
There are other dogs going to and from the dog park.

We will be attending the Paws and Feet event this Saturday May 14th at Cooper River in Cherry Hill NJ.
Come out and get some exercise and have some fun.
There is a 5k race, 5k walk, and 1 mile walk – participation is $25
Even if you don’t want to run or walk you can come by for FREE and support all the runners and meet the people doing all the hard work that affects so many lives.
